How It Works

* You bring your items to consign in a 22 gallon plastic bin (or less). Only 1 bin at a time will be accepted. All clothing items must be clean and folded neatly.
If this is your first visit, you'll pay a $15.00 fee. This will be paid annually.
* We select and price items based on quality, style and demand.
* You will receive 40% of items priced under $30. You will receive 50% of items priced $30 and over.
* Items will be marked down 15% after 30 days, 25% after 60 days and 50% after 75 days.
* Your items will stay in the store for 90 days. At the end of this time you may choose to pick up your unsold items or have us donate them to Children & Families of Iowa.
* You may check your account by: going to our website, calling or coming into the store. You will receive a check for amounts over $15 and cash for anything under $15. You may also use your money as in-store credit!
* If you would like your check mailed to you instead of coming into the store, we can mail it for a $2.75 charge. This will be taken off your account.

What We Accept

* Baby and children's clothing up to size 12 and Maternity clothing in next-to-new condition.
* Toys, Books, Shoes, Cribs, Strollers, High Chairs, Baby Furniture and More! Please limit stuffed animals to battery operated varieties like Tickle Me Elmo, etc...
* If something requires batteries, there must be working batteries in that item.
* Clothing items WILL NOT be accepted if there are stains, garage sale stickers, contain illegal amounts of lead or phthalates, safety pins, pet hair, unpleasant odors, smoke, holes or missing bottoms
* Items NOT accepted: used underwear, VHS tapes, any toy containing illegal amounts of lead phthalates, any recalled products, car seats and breast pumps. You are welcome to post your car seat or breast pump on our bulletin board if you are a consignor.

Helpful Hints

* The better your item looks, the better it will sell, freshly laundered and winkle free.
* Putting a dryer sheet in with your bin helps clothes keep a fresh scent.
* Grandma's secret spot remover ( sold at both Me-n-Mommy To Be Locations ) will get out almost any stain
* Marking your larger items with a sticky note or a piece of tape will help to ensure that your items get entered under the correct number.

Jeans, sweatshirts, swimsuits, leotards, dance/gymnastics gear.

Holiday Items

Bring these items in 1 to 2 months before the holiday season!
